DMV’s Armani Jordan is Thankful for His Position in ‘Sneaks Couch Freestyle’

Are you the type of person to wait til Thanksgiving to give thanks? That's not the case for DMV rising star Armani Jordan. Following the release of his first summer single, ‘The DEVIL IS REAL.’ he recently released his newest single, ‘Sneak’s Couch Freestyle’. Where he goes beneath the surface by updating his listeners on how life has been treating him.

“I used the song as an opportunity to address a lot of things that my audience may have seen from a distance but not really had any clarity on. Like, “Why has there been such a huge delay on the music, why is bro living in Las Vegas ?”.

With his most recent single, Armani gets the chance to let off a couple of bars on how he was feeling in the moment. The production was influenced by trailblazers like Kanye and The Beatles, who inadvertently lit a fire under him. With the groundwork laid, Armani felt comfortable doing what he does best. “The plan was to come back & make something fun on some “Armani’s Theme” shit so when I hit the stage I already got my walk-up music on some WWE shit”, when asked how the song was composed.

I appreciated how he elevated his lyricism to a higher level on this single. Look up this time next year, and I can imagine his fanbase will be even larger based on the way listeners will connect/gravitate to his music due to how much of an open book he is. When asked if he had any plans for an album this year, he replied saying “I won’t say that there will be an album this year but there will be more thought-provoking music & art for sure. Right now I’m focusing on growing the discography, getting my reps up at these shows, further developing my sound & zoning in on my message. An album will come out of this for sure, but I won’t force it or rush it. “

Based on that statement, it's safe to say Armani has big plans and a lot to prove for the rest of 2022.
